I have a red cat avalanche. I upgraded the motor to the castle mamba monster 2200kv it is crazy fast. Drive ability is poor. Its breaks parts keft and right. I see that the motor on the Terremoto is even bigger than the motor I upgraded to. I am curious if what I assume are stronger upgraded parts on the terremoto how is the the drive ability on this what sounds also crazy fast. I also run twin 5000mAh batteries.
This motor is much smaller than a Castle 2200. This is a 36 X 65 or 36 X 73 Im almost sure. These Redcats arent bad. I owned a Earthquake 8E and after upgrading to some higher quality hardware/ screws and upgraded the servo everything was OK! The plastic is a bit more brittle than Traxxas, but these are still a decent value. I plan on owning this truck sooner or later.
Hi, can someone advise which/where to get upgraded screw kits for the Red Cat Earthquake 8E?
After countless hours of searching, I’m still not convinced on going with Stainless Steel, Steel Alloy, Titanium etc.
I do know that ‘ RC Screwz’ are NOT recommended with regards to durability; that’s the general consensus.
I would greatly appreciate any detailed feedback.
