How to start a Redcat Racing gas RC engine
Here are the steps to starting a gas RC engine like those found in the Redcat Racing 1/5 scale gas vehicles:
- Turn on the radio and the vehicle. (make sure the receiver battery is fully charged and transmitter batteries are full)
- Prime the carburetor by pushing the primer bulb found on the carburetor until gas is seen inside the bulb. Prime a few more times.
- Close the choke by pushing the lever down.
- Pull starter cord until the engine fires once.
- Open the choke by turning up until horizontal
- Pull the cord to start the engine.
